**If you are online, you can do this on a Google Doc/Slides and submit....or do it on paper and send me a pic**

1) Model the movement of Carbon through the environment by rolling a die and following the instructions in the Carbon Game.

2) As you go through the steps, record what happens in 2 columns like the setup below. *If you come across a word you don't know, Google it and write the definition to the side on your paper*

   Example:

Process (what happens) Site (where the Carbon goes)
Respiration Atmosphere
Diffusion Water

*Diffusion = movement from high concentration to low concentration

3) After the game, create a model using arrows to show how the Carbon moved from site to site, like the example below.

  • Every time you return to your starting site, change color and label the color with the next number in order
  • If you have to stay in one site, draw an arrow back to itself and write the number of times you stayed there

4) Compare your model to those of others in the class. Are they all the same? Why do you think that is?
