Class Rules
- Be respectful of classmates and instructor (this is particularly applicable in discussions).
- Communicate with your instructor early on regarding issues of concern.
- Read all pertinent content before completing quizzes or assignments.
Class Behavior
You are expected to be fully engaged in your exercise program while in this class. Of course, I hope that one result of this class is a desire, on your part, to continue a regular exercise program throughout your life. You are required to log your daily/weekly workouts and so it is expected that you will log actual and legitimate workouts following the program that you design as opposed to simply making things up.
It is expected that if your program requires you to use public spaces that you will be cognizant of the rules associated with those spaces and will follow them. It is important that you recognize the necessity of being a strong and positive representative of UMA wherever you are.
Phones and earbuds are great for music while working out but please recognize that they can be a safety hazard if not used appropriately; depending on where you are exercising. Please be smart about how you use them.
