Review the traits of the dog breeds in the doc below.

 

On the Dog Traits doc below, describe the significance of a dog having each trait.

 

On the ownership card below, circle which traits would be valuable for a dog intended to retrieve nervous birds without scaring them off or hurting them. Then use the dog breeds info above to pick one breed to be "mom" and one breed to be "dad"

 

By flipping a coin, decide if a puppy is going to get traits from "mom" or "dad". Write down the traits the puppy gets in the table below, and repeat for three puppies. Finally, circle which puppy (or puppies) would be best for the bird retrieval job.
