Lab Safety Introduction
Safety in the lab (and in class in general) is incredibly important--especially because scientists frequently work with sharp objects, flames, glass, chemicals, etc. While I don't expect to be working with anything particularly dangerous in this class, I do consider it my responsibility to prepare cadets for more science classes and experiences that may involve more hazards. Therefore, I TAKE SAFETY PROCEDURES VERY SERIOUSLY.
No cadet will be allowed to participate in labs until the Safety Contract is signed and returned, and the Safety Quiz (on Canvas) is passed.
