Color Theory

 Have you ever looked at a design and felt... underwhelmed? Like something about it just seemed off, somehow? I find that when I have this feeling, it usually is due to a poor use of color theory. Color theory is an incredibly rich concept which could take years to learn and master. In this class, we are going to dip our big toe into this giant subject; just enough to make our documents look interesting and vibrant.

The following color picker tool will help you understand color theory. Play around with the hue, saturation, and value. Experiment by playing around with color schemes like Monochromatic and Complementary. You can also come back to this tool when picking colors for your designs later.
