What: Students will learn about anatomy from observation of a virtual bullfrog dissection. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO DOWNLOAD OR ACCESS THIS VIRTUAL LAB ON SCHOOL CHROMEBOOKS, SO DO NOT TRY! However, if you have your own computer, you can download the dissection program for free Frog Guts Virtual Dissection
How: Students will be able to observe a virtual dissection of a frog in class.
WHY: Understanding the layers of tissues, and position of organs, is essential to a basic understanding of Anatomy.
The Frog guts program is a very interesting program, and offers virtual dissection of several other organs and organisms as well as frogs. Students will answer questions about their observations of the virtual dissection.
Feel free to download this program to your personal computer prior to class and try it out. It is currently open to students.
